Mr. Horton is the Chief Technology Officer of CES Energy Solutions, based in Calgary, Alberta. He brings deep expertise in chemistry and technology development to the role, with a career that spans the oilfield chemical services sector. Prior to CES, Mr. Horton served as Vice President, Technology at Engenium Chemicals Corp., and held positions at Travis Chemicals. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Applied Mathematics from the University of Calgary. In his role as CTO, Mr. Horton oversees CES’s network of 13 laboratory and R&D facilities across North America and is responsible for the development and refinement of the Company’s proprietary drilling fluid, completion, and production chemical technologies.
