Mr. Strickland brings over 23 years of comprehensive experience in the drilling fluids industry to his role as President of AES Drilling Fluids, a position he assumed in April 2024. He began his career at M-I SWACO as a Drilling Fluids Specialist, progressing through roles of increasing responsibility including Project Engineer before joining AES Drilling Fluids in 2011 as an Account Manager. His performance at AES led to successive promotions – Northeast Division Manager based in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania; Vice President in 2016; and Executive Vice President for the three years preceding his appointment as President. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Strickland has been instrumental in building client relationships, leading divisional operations, shaping strategic direction, and driving growth across AES’s U.S. drilling fluids platform.
